Crawdaddys West Side Grill: Experience Southern Flavors in Cookeville, TN

WOW! This was probably some of the best food I've ever had. The service was also excellent. Definitely coming back!

The service is great, the inside is a bit loud but patio is awesome. The food is good-great poboys-but the gumbo recipe has too much tomato base instead of roux and the sauces are not NOLA quality. I have heard the steaks here are good-going to have to try one.

The food at this place was absolutely amazing! Having spent my summers in Mobile, I have pretty high standards when it comes to Southern flavors, and this spot did not disappoint. The crawfish, which I was most excited about, were perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The outdoor patio was a fantastic setting--ideal for a crisp fall or breezy spring day. Our server was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and constantly checking in with us. While the food took a little longer to arrive than expected, it was clear the kitchen was backed up, and the excellent service more than made up for the wait. I'll definitely be back!

This restaurant is worth trying out, the food was delicious and came out relatively quickly. We ordered a few dishes all of which were excellent, The Cajun Chicken Penne Pasta had the perfect spice. The Crème Brûlée is a must try if you are looking for a sweet ending to your meal. The decor is well thought out and the outdoor seating was relaxing and enjoyable. The service was a little lackluster, but overall was a great night.

Reagan (I'm sorry if I spelled that wrong) was the BEST server I think I've ever had. She was knowledgeable, kind, funny, and very timely with her check ins. My family of five went there for my sisters' birthday and Reagan absolutely made it the most incredible time. Food was phenomenal. It happened to rain on us but, she pointed out a gorgeous rainbow. She's a ray of sunshine. Thank you so much for hiring such a beautiful soul!!!

Walking around Cookeville and came upon this restaurant. Stopped in and started with Bloody Marys. They were perfect. Ordered scallops plate and a shrimp and sausage plate. The scallops were good but very salty. The shrimp plate was perfect. Service was fast and our waitress was very attentive. The place had a Mardi Gras New Orleans vibe. We would come back for sure

We were welcomed and sat right away. We sat on the outside patio which was really relaxing. They had music playing just creating a warm welcoming environment. We ordered gator bites, shrimp bisque, crab cakes with grits and sweet potato fries, top sirloin with baked potato and okra and sea bass with okra and roasted potatoes minus the rice. Gator bites came out super hot. The soup was sent back because it was barely warm and got a fresh bowl still not hot. That is a pet peeve of mine I like HOT soup. The crab cakes were flavorful and hearty, sweet potato fries a little salty but good, the grits seemed slightly undercooked the flavor was muted. The sirloin was ordered medium, it came out rare but had really good flavor and a good piece of meat, baked potato was standard the okra the flavor may not have been to his liking. The sea bass was very good however slightly overly salted, roasted potatoes were superb, okra I liked with their brand hot sauce.

The food was very good! We dined here twice during our stay. The first night I got the lamb which was perfectly done. The next night I ordered the t bone steak which was over cooked. The service was excellent and accommodation of a larger parties each night. Pat & Ashley went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of each night. Thank you

In my first review I said all my family gives it 5 stars, we loved it and if I was ever back in Cookeville, I'd be coming back here. Well 11 months later, I am back in Cooksville ( getting dog number 2! ) and we are back at Crawdaddy's. Still love it and still 5 stars! Great service, great food, great restaurant! This time we sat inside because it is raining. The inside is cool! Feels like I'm in New Orleans :)
